Nena Hotel Bremen by LESA

We would not recommend this hotel. We didn’t have good instructions on how to access the front door after hours to gain access to the hotel. We were finally able to gain entry only because another guest happen to come in at that time. The rooms are too small, furniture is to big for the space and was awkwardly laid out which didn’t allow enough space to walk on either side of the bed.

Very shady business practices with false advertisement. This is what they do:

1. Claim all rooms have air conditioning but they DO NOT all have air conditioning. 2. When you complain, they ask you to send an email with the proof that they advertised with air conditioning. (As if they don’t know what they put on Booking, this is just an extra obstacle they put up) 3. They say they give you 20% back to compensate. What’s the point? I left early because I don’t want to sleep in 30C 4. Haven’t seen the money come back yet, so now I even got to chase them for the 20%.

This hotel knowingly does false advertisement and claims it was all by accident, impossible. I hear stories about their permanently broken pool too. And the parking which turns out not to be available for all room types upon arrival.

Great hotel in perfect location. Hotel located in the city center near shopping area. A lot of restaurants and cafes around. Right next great walking route alongside the river.

Hotel has good spa and swimming pool that works from 8am till 10pm. Hotel has parking but it is located in underground garage with a lift that is quite narrow and might be hard to park big car.

An excellent hotel with great sauna and pool. My only criticism is that the lifts were so dark, it’s supposed to be cool, that we couldn’t see which numbers to press. Great breakfasts.

We were heartily welcome at Hotel Nena when we checked in as a couple for two nights for a private visit to Bremen. Compared with other hotels the staff was extra friendly and helpful to find our way around the hotel. This hotel is special. Centrally situated you are in walking distance to Bremen Altstadt and the Weser. The hotel itself is an amazing combination of modern design, comfort and beauty and artefacts from 800 year old history that came to light when the place was renovated and expanded lately. Our room with bath and small kitchen for self catering was amazing and the relation value for money as well. Everything we could ask for was available. The gym and pool, the roof top terasse were enjoyable, cosy, practical, and beautiful. But also bigger groups and businesses can find a suitable venue in Hotel Nena, since meeting rooms and facilities are available. My husband and I wholeheartedly recommend this place. If i can say anything about this place, it's a place where you feel welcomed. The people here are really friendly and are always available if you need something. You can ask them any question and they will do their best to answer it and help you out as much as possible. The rooms are modern and clean as it should be. They also have an amazing pool + sauna on the -1 floor. You can also enjoy the gym if you're feeling like a workout.

I would recommend booking a room here so you would have no stress when arriving in Bremen. The staff is normally available 24/7 if needed.

The location itself is close to the water and close to many restaurants. You can also take a late night walk next to the river where you will see some boats alongside which give you a really authentic view.

Spacious rooms with some complimentary drinks and shampoos, really cozy and elegant design with a wardrobe section. Parking slot is also available, French breakfast usually is served (coffee, juice and croissants), good wifi and friendly service. Don’t forget to visit a nice swimming pool and gym

In November my wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night. The room was beautiful and the staff friendly. Upon arrival we were told that there was a party on the top floor (the 6th). We slept on the 1st floor and when we returned to the hotel in the evening to sleep we heard the music. With earplugs in it was still okay, but between 1 and 4 am it was so loud that we almost shook ourselves out of bed and could hardly sleep.

We complained about the noise when checking out. Apparently the organizer of the party should have called everyone in advance about this party. However, we knew nothing. Annoying, but it can happen. We got a 10% discount, which was the only thing the man behind the counter could do for us at that time. He would ask management to contact us for a (full) refund. I trusted that this would work out. I shouldn't have done that.

I wasn’t called back and only on my second email did I receive a response telling me to just be patient. Two weeks passed, zero response. After the third email it took a few more days and the response was ultimately that we did not receive a refund and that the discount was sufficient. Not exactly what you expect from a hotel that says 'guest of honor' on their key cards.

Conclusion: nice hotel, but I would not reccomend it to anyone.

Absolutely fabulous! Centrally located on the river, near plenty of restaurants and within easy walking distance to the historic downtown area. The room itself was spacious, very clean and well appointed. The Hotel staff was very courteous. The parking is a bit unusual at first, but very convenient.

Helpful staff, a quiet pool & spa area with chill water beds and a relaxed atmosphere. Self-served Sky bar and cool, modern rooms. No-brainer, I will return.

There was a good choice of original drinks in the minibar but a little expensive.. That's the only criticism I can think of

This hotel has upsides and downsides, which all are elements which might be liked or hated by people. It is a design hotel, so functionality is not per se the first priority. The rooms are clean, but the carpet does contain fixed stains; both in the hallway as in the room. We had a room on the streetwise, which was quite loud (but to be expected when one stays in the middle of a bigger city). The design was to my liking, but my wife hated it. The TV was brand new, but too big (or too close to the bed). Lastly, the beds were horribly soft and the lack of more than one pillow made it hard to sit up right without being pushed into the hard board back side. On positive notes it is super easy to walk into town from here, the wellness area is neat and clean (but with more than 5 people already crowdy), the gym is functional but crowdy with more than 2. Lastly, the staff was friendly and the restaurant (not owned by the hotel) in the building was very good! Overall, many of the negative points I mentioned were taste. Nonetheless I can't give more than 3 stars.

We had a great stay at this beautiful hotel. Nice design, spacious and clean rooms. Our request for a bath was fulfilled, so happy with that.

The hotel is ideally located near the old town

The spa and swimming pool area is excellent: good facilities and plenty of towels.

Special kudos go to the receptionist who was usually there: Sarah. Always a smile and always interested, with humor and a personal touch, while maintaining a professional distance. She advised us twice on restaurants that exactly met our needs of that moment. What a difference one morning with a female collegue who barely looked up when you passed the reception and replied with a lame greeting when greeted. I can imagine this influences the experience.

Also kudos to the housekeeping team. They do a great job behind the scenes and are extremely friendly in the hallways.

We missed a restaurant but that was because there was a transition from external to internal operations. Good reason to come back :-)

The only "shortcoming" is that there is only complinentary tea at the reception. A nice cup of espresso would also be welcome. On the other hand, this desire is triggered by the fact that there is tea at all. Had that not been the case, complimentary coffee would not have been missed.

Room was great, the breakfast is totally worth it you get a nice view of the river. Employees were always friendly, and the wellness area was nice to let off some steam before taking my trip back.

1. Very Loud music at night times keeps disturbing the people 2. No rule book of any hotel in the world would describe that guest must bear the cost of stains caused. Its intrestingly strange to know that hotel has actually issued a letter to bear the cost of entire cost of sink, if the colored stains(which are harldy visible) dont vanish. Sink is neither damaged nor broke. 3. Few staff members loose their cool very quickly in contrast others are very polite and helpful 4.Rooms has got good river view.

Right in the heart of the City Center. With a highly professional team. Everyone is kind and social. I would definitely call ÜberFluss "my home in Bremen". 1 minute walk to Schlachte, 5 minutes walk to historic city center: Rathaus, towns musicians statue, Schnoor and Weser. Every single detail of the establishment is carefully decorated and very elegant. I can't think of a better place to be weather if you are looking for a nice, calm walk by the river or an active night out.

Gave us a non AC room despite booking AC room. Very noisy. 15euro to get AC as the room had a river view. View was just of trees in front of the river. Argued at checkout but they wouldn't budge. Avoid this hotel. No parking available either. Very unimpressed

Unser Aufenthalt im Nena Hotel Bremen war einfach wunderbar! Das gesamte Team war sehr aufmerksam und überaus freundlich – wir haben uns herzlich willkommen und bestens betreut gefühlt. Unser Zimmer war groß, tipptopp sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet, genau der richtige Rückzugsort nach einem ereignisreichen Tag. Besonders gefallen hat uns auch der Wellnessbereich: herrlich entspannend und ideal zum Abschalten. Ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: der Pool könnte für unseren Geschmack eine Spur wärmer sein. Ansonsten rundum empfehlenswert – wir kommen sehr gern wieder! :)

Tolles Hotel – wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bot einen fantastischen Blick über den Fluss. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, frisch und mehr als ausreichend, genau der richtige Start in den Tag. Check-in und Parkmöglichkeiten verliefen reibungslos und unkompliziert. Die Lage ist ideal, nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von der historischen Altstadt entfernt. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Bei meiner Ankunft waren das Badezimmer, die Toilette sowie der Bereich unter dem Bett leider nicht sauber. Gerade diese Punkte sind mir in einem Hotel besonders wichtig. Unter dem Bett sowie an den Heizkörpern war deutlich Staub sichtbar, zudem lag dort eine alte Taschentuchpackung. Das Badezimmer wirkte insgesamt so, als sei es seit mehreren Tagen nicht gründlich gereinigt worden.

Positiv hervorheben möchte ich jedoch ausdrücklich das Personal. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren außergewöhnlich freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Nachdem ich die mangelnde Reinigung des Badezimmers angesprochen hatte, wurde sofort reagiert: Die Hausdame hat das Bad umgehend und sehr gründlich gereinigt und dabei hervorragende Arbeit geleistet. Dieses professionelle und engagierte Verhalten empfand ich als sehr vorbildlich. Man merkt deutlich, dass sich das gesamte Team mit viel Einsatz und echter Freundlichkeit um die Gäste bemüht. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut.

Enttäuschend war allerdings, dass ich während meines Aufenthalts im Oktober zwei schriftliche Reklamationen im Hotel abgegeben habe. Bei einer davon habe ich ausdrücklich um eine Rückmeldung gebeten – bis heute habe ich jedoch keinerlei Antwort erhalten.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön und sogar mit Pool und Sauna ausgestattet. Es gibt einen tollen Frühstücksraum mit sehr bequemen Stühlen (was uns sehr wichtig war). Uns wurde als Gruppe mit 10 Leuten sogar ein gemeinsamer Tisch reserviert, das war wirklich super. Auch das Frühstück an sich war super. Es gab frische Brötchen, kleine Schokocroissants, sowie Schokobrötchen. Verschiedene Marmeladen und Nutella, diverse Käse und Wurstsorten, Quark, Joghurt, Müsli, Cornflakes und sogar Säfte, Wasser und ganz wichtig sehr guten Kaffee. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten allesamt Comfort Zimmer, die jedoch auch unterschiedlicher nicht hätten sein können. Alle gemein hatten sie aber jeweils ein großes Doppelbett, einen großen Fernseher und ein Bad. Leider gab es zum Bad keine Tür und die Dusche war auch nicht separat mit einem Vorhang versehen. Da unser Zimmer relativ kühl war (zum schlafen perfekt zum Duschen eher ungünstig), war es schon beim Duschen schnell kalt. Das fand ich nicht so gut. Ansonsten ein gelungener Aufenthalt und eine Empfehlung dort zu übernachten.

Nena Hotel Bremen – top Lage, aber innen leider mehr Schein als Sein 😬🏨

Beruflich in Bremen unterwegs, eine Nacht mit Kollegin im Nena Hotel verbracht – und ich sag’s mal so: Die Lage an der Weser und nah zur Altstadt ist wirklich stark. Da denkt man erstmal: kann ja kaum schiefgehen. Tja… kann es leider doch. 🙃

Der Start: freundlich empfangen, Hoffnung noch am Leben 👋✨

Wir sind gegen 18 Uhr eingecheckt und wurden an der Rezeption wirklich sympathisch empfangen. Der Eingangsbereich machte einen guten ersten Eindruck, auch die Begrüßung war herzlich und professionell.

Also ja: der Auftakt war absolut okay. Nur leider blieb es nicht dabei.

Zimmer mit Design-Ideen aus der Kategorie: „Und Alltag? Egal.“ 🚿💡🔌

Ich hatte ein Zimmer zur Innenstraße, meine Kollegin eines zum Innenhof. Und schon im Bad ging das kleine Abenteuer los:

Die Dusche ist leider eine komplette Fehlkonstruktion. Man kann dort eigentlich nicht normal duschen, ohne dass gefühlt das halbe Bad mit unter Wasser steht. Die Regendusche hängt sehr hoch an der Decke und durch Kalkablagerungen spritzte sie teilweise auch noch schräg statt sauber nach unten.

Heißt auf gut Deutsch: Du willst duschen – das Bad sagt: „Heute machen wir Hochwasser.“ 😅

Auch der Rest des Zimmers wirkte so, als hätte jemand bei der Planung vor allem an Optik gedacht, aber nicht daran, dass dort echte Menschen übernachten:

Lichtschalter nur auf einer Bettseite

wer auf der Fensterseite liegt, darf sich abends offenbar überlegen, ob Aufstehen heute noch Teil des Service ist

Ganz ehrlich: Wie kommt man auf so etwas?

Die Matratze war dazu leider auch nicht wirklich erholsam – entweder zu weich oder einfach schon ziemlich durchgelegen. Von gutem Schlaf vor dem nächsten Arbeitstag kann da nicht wirklich die Rede sein.

Innenhof mit sehr unschönem Morgengruß 🕊️😶

Meine Kollegin hatte ein Zimmer mit Blick in den Innenhof. Dort war wohl ein Netz gespannt, das den Bereich irgendwie schützen sollte.

Das Problem: Am Morgen lagen dort im Hellen zwei verendete Tauben, die offensichtlich nicht entfernt worden waren.

Und das ist einfach kein Detail, über das man locker hinweggeht. Es war nicht nur unschön, sondern wirklich bedrückend und ein ziemlich unangenehmer Anblick.

Frühstück: Booking verspricht Wow, Realität serviert eher Ach so 🍞🥤

Die Bilder bei Booking.com sahen nach einem richtig schönen Frühstück aus. So ein Buffet, bei dem man denkt: Okay, wenigstens startet der Tag gut.

Die Realität war leider deutlich trauriger.

Statt schöner Brötchen und einer ansprechenden Auswahl gab es im Grunde nur einen Korb bzw. eine Schüssel mit einfachen Aufbackbrötchen. Der Orangensaftbehälter war fast leer und wurde während unserer Zeit dort auch nicht mehr aufgefüllt.

Das Ganze wirkte nicht wie „klein, aber fein“, sondern eher wie: „Wir machen Frühstück, weil wir es halt anbieten müssen.“

Und das ist dann schon enttäuschend – vor allem, wenn die Außendarstellung vorher deutlich mehr verspricht.

Und dann liest man sowas noch nebenbei… 🤔

In einem anderen Google-Kommentar habe ich gelesen, dass sich das Hotel angeblich in einem laufenden Insolvenzverfahren befinden soll. Ob das stimmt, kann ich nicht sagen.

Aber ich sag mal so: Falls da etwas dran ist, würde es leider einige Dinge erklären.

Fazit: schöne Lage, aber zu viele Baustellen ❌

Die Lage des Hotels ist wirklich ein Pluspunkt. Auch der Empfang war freundlich und hat zunächst Hoffnung gemacht.

Aber am Ende bleibt vor allem das hängen:

unpraktische Zimmerlösung

Bad mit Überschwemmungspotenzial

schwache Schlafqualität

sehr trauriges Frühstück

und ein Innenhof-Anblick, den wirklich niemand morgens braucht

Wir werden uns beim nächsten Bremen-Besuch definitiv eine andere Alternative suchen. Für uns war das leider kein Aufenthalt, den man wiederholen möchte.

Hält leider nicht was es verspricht. Sauberkeit auf den Zimmer lässt absolut zu wünschen übrig. Hier schein dem Team nicht genügend Zeit eingeräumt worden zu sein. Es gibt eine Kapselkaffeemaschine, Kapseln werden aber nicht angeboten. Die Minibar ist leer. Die Bar hatte für die Dauer des Aufenthalts immer geschlossen. Wasser in Flaschen gibt es nicht auf dem Zimmer und kann auch nicht erworben werden. Die klassischen Hygieneartikel fehlen ebenfalls. Complementary ist im Nena in Bremen ein Fremdwort. Der Preis lässt anderes vermuten. Lage an der Schlachte ist nett.

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, sauber und wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf die Weser. Das war echt schön. Durch die von dem Boden bis zur Decke reichenden Fenster war es möglich, im Bett liegend die Weser anzuschauen. Die hat zum Entschleunigen beigetragen. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Herzlicher Dank geht an die nette Dame von der Rezeption, Marie. Eine Perle, super freundlich und extrem Lösungsorientiert. M E G A ! Personal war insgesamt bemerkenswert freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Hotel Nena hat eine wunderbare Lage und einen ganz besonderen Charme. Unsere Zimmer waren gemütlich, modern und makellos sauber – genau das, was man sich wünscht. Pool und Sauna sind ein echtes Highlight und luden perfekt zum Entspannen ein. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich; besonders die lieben Damen an der Rezeption haben unseren Aufenthalt bereichert: immer mit einem guten Tipp zur Hand und für einen netten Witz zu haben. Man hatte das Gefühl, bei Freunden zu Gast zu sein, dabei blieb alles stets professionell. Wir vier Mädels aus dem Münsterland kommen sehr gern wieder, wenn wir das nächste Mal in Bremen sind. Herzlichen Dank für ein so tolles Wochenende bei Ihnen!

Also das Hotel ist okay aber nicht das was es verspricht. Mein Zimmer sah auf denn Bildern komplett anders aus als auf booking.com und war sehr lieblos eingerichtet. Die Betten waren sehr hart und nicht gerade bequem! Das Fitnessstudio ist okay Man kann kann halt nur Latzug rudern und Trizeps trainieren und hat Hanteln bis 10kg Ein kabelturm ist einfach kaputt! Ich persönlich fande auch die Einrichtung und Aufteilung des Hotels nicht sehr gut sehr unübersichtlich und dunkel eingerichtet nicht sehr gemütlich! Die Sauna und der Pool hingegen sind gut Also für mich bei weitem kein 4 Sterne Hotel und auch nicht das was es verspricht.

Wunderschönes Hotel in perfekter Lage! Direkt an der Weser und trotzdem mitten in der Stadt — ideal, um sowohl am Wasser zu entspannen als auch die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, man fühlte sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das Frühstück war köstlich und abwechslungsreich, genau der richtige Start in den Tag. Abends lädt die tolle Bar zu einem gemütlichen Ausklang ein. Rundum ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt — ich komme gern wieder!

Ein super schönes Hotel, alles sehr sauber, sehr stilvoll aber dennoch das ganze Team sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und auch mal für nen netten Plasch zu haben. Die Lage ist super gleich am Kanal wie auch in der Innenstadt. Vielen Dank für die schöne Woche, wenn ich wieder in Bremen bin, schau ich bestimmt wieder vorbei :)

Außergewöhnliche, sehr aufmerksame Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption, die uns den Aufenthalt um 300% verbessert hat. Angenehme Zimmer, gute Betten und ein angenehmer Spa-Bereich. Volle Sterne und wesentlich besser als jedes Motel one.🎉❤️🙏🏻

Wir waren in zwei Appartements im Nena Hotel untergebracht und diese sind im Vergleich zu den Hotelzimmern sehr veraltet und schlecht ausgestattet und befinden sich in einem Nebengebäude. Das Badezimmer riecht sehr modrig, der Schrank in der Küche ist defekt, die Heizungen sind nachts sehr laut, die Betten sehr hart und unbequem und die Fenster lassen sich nicht komplett verdunkeln. Das Preis-Leistungsniveau passt leider überhaupt nicht. Als wir das Personal auf den Zustand hingewiesen haben, wurde uns gesagt, dass sich das Hotel in einem Insolvenzverfahren befindet und man daher keine Defekte aktuell beheben kann.
